In order to thanks for all employees’ efforts, enhance group cohesiveness and enrich the collective life, our company organized the “Liyang Team Building Activity” for all employees from September 5th to 6th.
At 7 o’clock in the morning of September 5th, all employees gathered at the west gate of Jiangyin Sport Center with excitement and then started for Liyang by three buses. After two hours, we arrived at the first stop -- Nanshan Bamboo Sea Scenic Spot. We all dressed the purple uniform and took the group photo at the gate of the scenic spot, then began the happy journey.
After all employees arrived at the Shouxing Square by small trains, we prepared to climb the highest peak of Wu Yue. All employees are grouped into seven teams. Before climbing, each team leader organized all team members to hold high flags and shout slogans, to encouraged for climbing. And then, the general manager announced a rule: first, each team show their own slogan, the climbing order would be decided according to the performance. Second, the first team to reach the peak and recorded a video as evidence who would win a pair of gym shoes as the reward for each team member.
The Nanshan Bamboo Sea is 508 meters high, and it has 2088 steps, our climbing route is 1200 meters long. After showing the slogan, each team set out off in order. At the beginning, we all thought it is easy to climb and were not tired. But as time went by, someone began to appear tired and had to stop for a rest. The members of each team were scattered slowly. But the team members climbing in front often returned to find their members and helped each other. All members are in a team, nobody would be gave up. After more than an hour climbing, more and more people arrived the top of the mountain. Overlooking the 35,000 acres of bamboo and feeling the gift of the nature, all fatigue was gone. Taking the cable car slowly down the mountain, the morning activity ended in success.
Even though we spent a lot of energy in climbing, we still devoted our enthusiasm to the exciting rafting activities in the afternoon. The length of rafting river is 4.8 km, with 15 rapids, drops of about 50 meters, 20 bends, and 5 exciting reaches. Two people were on a raft, and there was a water battle between different rafts. We all screamed and played like children. Nearly three hours of rafting, everyone forgot the troubles of work, body was wet, but mind was greatly released.
In the evening, we checked into the Holiday Inn Express Liyang Huafu and ended an exciting and enriching day.
On the second day, we visited the Tianmu Lake Scenic Area -- National 5A scenic spot. Differ from the first day’s exciting activities, the second day is more suitable for calming down and enjoying the scenery. First of all, we arrived at Longxing Island by ship, and visited butterfly island, Tianmu range, fairy kingdom and so on. Secondly, we arrived at rural idyllic island, and visited the ancient mill, the world’s first pot, Jiangnan market and experience the zip-lining adventures. After lunch, we visited scholar tower.
At 2 o’clock in the afternoon, we went back to Jiangyin by bus and ended the successful Liyang team building activity. This activity will be an unforgettable experience, which not only enrich the employees’ life, enhance the communication, but also improve the team spirit, cohesion and belonging.
